I came into my office to work on a meme for National Organize Your Home Office Day. I have made a list of the memes that I want to make for this month and this is the first one on my list. It really comes as a surprise that I need to pay attention to this particular National Day.

This is the picture I took by just stepping away from my desk. I have a large desk that was given to me by a friend who was moving and she ask me if I wanted it. YES was the resounding answer as my old one was falling apart. This desk has a lot more working space and more drawer space. Note that I did not open the drawers, there is a reason for that.

I am committed to decluttering my desk so you can see that I do have a nice size space to do my marketing work. And will make it more organized so I can have my “stuff” close to my hands. Of course, you know that I can work anywhere as long as I have my smartphone, a computer, and internet (Wi-Fi). With the smartphone, I don’t need the computer, or with the computer I don’t need the smartphone. It is really convenient that they are interchangeable.

I have plenty of room for my office needs, I just tend to keep everything out in the open so I can find it (Yeah, right?)  When I clean house, I usually just take everything on top of the desk and put it in a drawer. So today is the perfect day to find a home for some of this stuff that I can get to quickly. When I finish I will take a picture and see the comparison.

Mission Accomplished!

Well, I am pleased with the results! Just a few comments on my desk. I have some of my products on my desk as I use them. The black, white and purple boxes under the yellow bowl are: zlem for sleep, bran for energy and byom for gut health.  It is kind of hard to see as it is silver necklace hanging on the computer near the Kleenex box.  The necklace is an emf diffuser. The round coaster is a wine design. Having the items where I can see them, gives me inspiration.

So this was/is a good exercise. My home office is more organized so the National Day to Organize Your Home Office was successful.
