American Health Imaging is the Place if you need medical imaging. Only know about the most popular places to get medical imaging. Well, let me clue you into an imaging office that is FANTASTIC!! It is called American Health Imaging on Church Street in Marietta, GA.

These actions took place over a time period, and it got worse. Since then, I changed my chiropractor simply because his office did not accept my insurance. So, I had to pay, file a claim, to get my refund. It was a hassle, time costly, and expensive. So, this chiropractic office is close to home, accepts my insurance, and did NOT give me a schedule of visits. This particular office also specializes in sports injuries and has a massage therapist on site. (If you have never had a massage, I highly recommend it.)

I had my initial visit, and I scheduled another visit with a 1-hr massage. In my gift bag from the chiropractic office, I had a coupon for a 1-hr massage for $60. The massage cost was $70. The massage therapist was wonderful and gave me extra minutes because she said I needed it. I left their office feeling great.

Now comes the hurting part. Of course, therapist worked on my knees and the muscles around them, she did not hurt me and was very conscience of the fact that I had knee problems. The results are that the knee became a different sort of hurt. Now I find that I cannot straighten the knee as the muscle around the knee keeps it from working correctly.

I went back to Dr. Ian who examined my knee, and he recommended that I see an orthopedic. I asked for a recommendation, and he suggested one. This doctor said he needed me to have an MRI so he could have a better understanding of my problem.

Intriguing MRI American Health Imaging

I am not sure how this came about but American Health Imaging has a referral for me for an MRI on my right knee. The Orthopedic office had scheduled me for East Cobb Health Park. Which is a Wells Star facility and is convenient to my home. It is also very busy. The last time I was there, I had an appointment; and waited so long, that I walked out. So anyway, I called East Cobb Health Park and could not get an appointment until 2 weeks out. My knee was not getting better, and I thought 2 weeks more was just too much.

I had kept American Health Imaging’s info, and I called them. I could have an appointment the day I called, but I opted for the next day. Today was the day. Charles acted as chauffeur, and we got there 10 min early. My appointment was at 1pm, was asked to be there at 12:45. We got there @12:35. I love Lucy was on the tv screen, muted with closed caption. 2 other folks waiting.

I checked in and paid my bill and by the time I sat down and opened my book, I never go to a doctor’s office without a book, a nurse came out and called one of the people back. They just got out of sight when another nurse came out and called the second person back. 

I was called back at 12:55 and we left at 1:25. The staff was friendly, efficient and understanding. The office is clean, quiet, and comfortable. This is a positive experience.

And one that I will keep. When or if I need any more imaging, I will definitely call American Health Imaging. 678-736-8908
