I live in a modest ranch house with 3 bedrooms, 1-3/4 baths, kitchen, dining room and living room. This house was built in the ’70s and we have been here since 1974. We raised our 2 boys here and can’t image living anywhere else. We have looked for a bigger house, but the interest rates, prices, and locations were never in our expectations. So, we have updated, remodeled, and made this house our home.

You do know the difference between a house and a home, right? A house is a building you live in to make a home. A home is the family who live in a house. It irks me when realtors put up signs that say “Home for Sale”. It is not the home, it is the HOUSE. (Anyway, that’s the way I feel.)

My home and lifestyles are casual, cozy and comfy.

Our Lifestyle is Retirement

After working and earning a living for all those years, we are now settled quite nicely into retirement in our home and lifestyles. No more being servants to an alarm clock, no more schedules to keep, no more J-O-B. Charles stays busy keeping the yards looking good and what maintenance the house needs. And I am an affiliate marketer. That puts me in front of a computer most days and I love it.

Being a marketer means I get to tell folks about great products that will hopefully make their lives better. One such products is my favorite.  Zlēm is a Snap It serum for better sleeping. It works and I use it every night. This is a sleep aid that relaxes you and with the good sleep, you wake up rested and ready for the day. I have sleep apnea and need to wear a CPAP mask at night. The 2 together, give me comfortable nights. (This lifestyle I could do without, but it is a fact of life for me.)
