I had an awful dream. I don’t usually remember my dreams and when I do, they seem to be disjointed more than troubling. This dream was different. It made me think about the demise of our morals, education, and economy. All because a “few” are imposing their socialistic ideas on the rest of us. Well, I believe the “rest of us” need to stand up for our rights. By kneeling before God and asking for His Divine Intervention.

I had an awful dream last night
I awoke and remembered the fright

I went shopping with my list in hand

Thinking it an ordinary chore and necessary plan

I had checked the specials and clipped my coupons

Which makes my shopping more right on

My list isn’t long and it’s what I call the usual list

Bread and coffee with snacks is the gist

So, I am at the store and notice that it doesn’t seem right

The shelves are there with the usual item stickers but there is nothing in site

So what is the problem now, I ponder with dread

With inflation my budget is thinly spread

As I stand in the check-out line, biting my nails

As the prices are so high, will I have enough money to prevail?

I only have so much money for food and gas

I need both to live my life, so I can’t pass

Before the tally was done and the verdict read

I awoke startled and wiping sweat from my head

I am aware that my country is letting me down,

The ruling crowd think they wear crowns,

What can I do to get my country back on the road to greatness?

Pray to God who has the power to overcome White House blindness.
